Meet the Team
Why choose us?
OUR DENTIST is the heart of our practice. Dr. Helderman loves being a dentists and working with children. She aims to please and wants every experience to be amazing!
OUR FACILITY is designed for children, not adults. Most dental offices look like...dental offices. When you come through our front door, you will know right away that this is not your typical dental office. This is a place kids want to come because it’s a fun place to visit! Our waiting area has a fun and interactive play area for little ones, along with video games for the bigger kids. Check out our facility.
OUR COMMITMENT to you is to provide your child with the highest quality dental care. We trust you will find the atmosphere child-oriented, the staff friendly, and our service exceptional.
OUR TEAM is amazing! We specifically choose each of our staff members for their friendliness and ability to build relationships with children. Not every person was born to interact with children all day - but we were!
Dr. Helderman in her own words…
Aleigha has been the dentist at Morristown Pediatric Dentistry for five and half years. She grew up in Oxford, North Carolina, but loves living in Morristown. She is married to Jared, and they are expecting their first child. They’re already parents to furbabies Lexi, Lily, and Layla. When she’s not educating patients and parents on having a healthy smile, she’s outside on the lake or reading. You may also see Aleigha out in the community at her church, the Morristown Area Chamber events, at Helping Young Professionals Excel (HYPE) events, and Hamblen County Foundation for Educational Excellence and Achievement (HC*EXCELL) events.
We would love to meet you and your children and look forward to welcoming you to our family!

Lexi the Therapy Dog
Lexi is an Australian Labradoodle. She has joined our family as a therapy dog for our patients. Lexi is still a puppy and learning, but her presence helps calm and relax the children. She is a hypoallergenic dog, which means no shedding and in MOST cases people with allergies are not affected by her. If for any reason you or your child do not want Lexi out and about while you are in the office, please let us know and we will be happy to put her in her bed!
